I would guess early to mid 70's model... I had a Pro II, later model with the square front, narrow pedals, and received it fall of 76.

I have played both extended E9th and Universal.... In my opinion, universal is the way to go. BTW: I recently changed my extended E9th steel to universal.

Years ago in a trade I ended up with a Mullen D10 which had to be the worst guitar ever. I am sure it was just a lemon as I have played several others since that were rather nice.

This info may be a little late for you.... Typically when you switch to/from bridge mode the speaker wiring also needs to be changed from a standard stereo configuration.
