You might check out VLC media player or Handbrake, for starters. I've used both, and I'm sure there are more/other options.

One of the great steel albums of all time, IMO.

Discogs agrees with Fred. Credits Weldon as the steeler on that track. Lists Bruce Bouton and Lloyd Green on the album as well ...

A lot of those mixers (like the one pictured) do not have high-impedance (instrument pickup) inputs. Guitars should have some sort of buffer before the mixer input.

The version on Youtube you linked to is in stereo, and the guitars are panned hard left/right. That should make it easier to pick them apart with the balance control.
