I love the Barnyard. Nocturne makes a box called El Pescadoro that adds a vintage reverb to the Barnyard circuit. That’s a lap steel secret weapon.

You may have to construct a set from singles. I use this chart for both acoustic/reso and electric steels. I like John Pearse 80/20 for the wound strings on my Weissenborn.

Most Lap steels have a wider string spacing than filtertrons will allow.. super Trom’s with the dual blades might work in certain scenarios
