Well there is a happy ending to this topic. Somebody did buy the guitar, looks like for the asking $5,999 !! Worth every cent IMO

I believe they are identical. I swapped a prewar bakelite Ric pickup for my A22 fry pan pickup and it fit fine. So long as they are both 1 1/2" horseshoes they should be interchangeable.
