I've used shrink tubing too but it wears out quickly. Does anyone have a spec (diameter, thickness) of the surgical tubing that they use for this capo? I have 2 of them.

Thanks

I get 5/16" between the strings at the bridge and a bit less at the nut. Total width of all strings outside to outside at the bridge is 3-3/16". Scale length is 24-1/2".

I have a Sica 15" Neo and a D-130F, but the Altec 418b sounds the best in my Evans amp. The neo is a bit dark but sounds great in my Standel Custom 15. The D-130F sounds best with my blackface ...

Lee, maybe a pair of good old cowboy boots will do also?

Tried them, couldn't make them work with my size 15 feet! The Organ Masters work pretty well and were much cheaper than cowboy boots.

Probably a dumb question but can it be done and, if so, is it a difficult thing to do? I have a 3x5 with the up lever lowering 5 and 10 a half a tone. I cannot really get the half pedal in tune very ...

That could be a bread clip, Doug. Maybe the former owner enjoyed sandwiches while practicing. Very Happy
