I use a 10 string bar on my 12 string guitar. I have big hands but it's easier for me to do slants and hammer ons with a 10 string bar.

Pedal C:
Usually raises strings 3 and 4 a whole step.
Somewhere I picked up having it also raise string 8 a whole step.
Pedal C raises strings 4 and 5 a whole step. E->F# and B->C#.

What a performance by Dale and the Lone Stars, especially Mike on steel. One of those signature songs like Farewell Party. Maybe that's a stretch but it's damn good.

I have a Spirit model Rains that Ken Giles made the cabinet for. It has inlaid dove fret markers and inlays on the front.

On my D-12's I have always had the low G# and E on the bottom of E9 and the first two on C6 are F and D. So strings 1-6 are FDGECA. That simulates the chromatic strings on the top of E9. It works for ...

First thing to check would be that both pots open completely when at full stroke. If not, that would explain your volume and tone loss.

The video just spins for me in Chrome. Right click shows that it is powered by JW Player. From what I can find, it doesn't require a plugin, but it won't play for me.
