I would try the Boss Tone first. A lot of distortion circuits (Fuzz Face,etc) don't work well with a buffered signal. | |

That is a R-C (resistor capacitor) high pass circuit that rolls the normally bass heavy Gibson pickup tone off and and gives it a brighter, more treble tone. | |
