For what it's worth, I think that Todd Clinesmith can supply dual/concentric knobs. He puts them on some laps steels that he makes.

I used to have a 1937 Epi Electar Model M with a horse-shoe pickup. It had 2 tone controls and a volume.
One tone was "treble cut" and the other was "bass cut".

My SD-11 was green lacquer like yours. I've also seen one that was blue lacquer with blue paint underneath. Definitely factory paint.

I'm pretty sure that green paint is original. My ZB SD-11 also had green paint underneath. Very close ser # to yours.

A few years ago I made myself a batch of turnbuckles using brass hex rod. Mine are tapped for 6-40, with 6-40 nuts to lock them. Never had a problem, so I don't think it's the brass.

It looks like a pull-release changer, like a ShoBud Maverick Might have been a kit.
But, for $400 including the amp, if the pedals and knee lever work, I would grab it.

ZB's have removable tops on the fingers. That would be way over-kill for your need. I would suggest something like the bridge on a Fender Stringmaster.
