Whitley's cut has Doug Jernigan on it. His best album in my opinion.

That record's got some fine "bluegrass" piano from Pig too!! Smile

My favorite cut is Cant See the Rainbow in the Sky for the Tears in my Eyes.

Pete can be seen in both Second Fiddle to a Steel Guitar and Country Music on Broadway from the mid-60's. I think they're both available on DVD now.

Pete Drake is in both Second Fiddle and Country Music on Broadway. If you'll notice they were both shot on the same set.
