I used to raise 5 and 6 a whole step on my 3rd pedal, and I liked it. It's easy to move the pullers over from 4 and 5.

They all default to equal temperament. But since about the time you last saw Halley's comet, most of them offer a choice of historical temperament ...

I've had that change on my RKR for as long as I can remember, on all 3 G# strings. On some of them I don't lower the high G# string because the pull is too long/stiff.

Just above your red circle, it looks like the hook on the pedal rod isn't going thru the hole as it should. The pedal rods on A and C pedals look OK.

My GFI is a 1993 model and the 8th of only 10 built before improvements were made to the model you have.

What changed did Gene make then? I think mine is older than that.

Thanks for that Johnny. I think my favorite thing about the steel guitar is that I can get so much pleasure from hearing someone whose approach is so completely different from mine.
