That's a real beauty. Although if what I'm seeing on the strings near the pickup is the tone bar you're using, you might consider getting a proper PSG tonebar. The one in the pic looks like the type g ...

Maybe “colored sound” is the wrong term. A cable’s capacitance effects the signal it transmits. As capacitance increases, high frequency transmission decreases. That’s not advertising. It’s ...

Tommy, I don't need it. But looking through the Winnie Winston/Bill Keith book, on page 59 there's a photo of Mr. Boggs standing behind what appears to possibly (likely?) be this very guitar. Pic was ...

I saw an old Fender sunburst double eight, 8/0 cable pull in a second hand store today. What caught my eye was "NOEL BOGGS" in old, worn sparkle block letters on the front apron. It seems ba ...

If I had to play straight 440, I'd sell the guitar and quit playing. I've tried it and it ain't pretty.

To each his own. But Buddy Emmons tuned his E9 straight 440, with a couple of very minor twea ...

I understood that after '66 or so they s ...
