When I was 'downsizing,' Larry Bell recommended keeping the second re-entrant string of E9, the D#. I agree.
It increases melodic opportunities, and you can get the D/C# lower with low D->C#.

Maybe when she grows into the picks they will be fine. Meantime, she's not doing any damage; I like the feel of strings too.

I think Sharon has a nice vibrato, as if she picked up the steel natura ...

The strings would break about the 13th fret or close to it mostly.

Yeah, don't quit. The samples and sounds, particularly percussion, are used expertly--some reminding me of David Bryne and Brian Eno--
they sound loose--and the steel sound, great.
