Beautiful, Ethan. When I first learned B11th one of the first tunes I arranged was Nuages. It just sits in that tuning like a Cheshire cat. Nice tone and improv ideas!

30 years ago I bought a Gibson EH-150 that had a Tele pickup in place of the original Charlie Christian. Sounded ok but I eventually replaced it.

Not being glib here. Proper slant technique is the key to better slants. A pronounced indent in the rear of the bar is pretty close to irrelevant - at least IMHO. My go-to bar these days is a Clinesmi ...

Thanks, Mike but the audio isn't a steel guitar , it's output from the editing software I tweaked to get as close to a steel sound as it allows - and that's not too close.
