I didn’t know this song but wow, great playing and film noir vibes. I can hear some influence from your recent Hindustani guitar studies. Cool track, Mike!

Beautiful, Ethan. When I first learned B11th one of the first tunes I arranged was Nuages. It just sits in that tuning like a Cheshire cat. Nice tone and improv ideas!

30 years ago I bought a Gibson EH-150 that had a Tele pickup in place of the original Charlie Christian. Sounded ok but I eventually replaced it.

This is a really cool pedal I picked up a few years ago but never really used honestly, out of sheer laziness. It works fine.

Pete was a pedal steel titan in the 60s but rare to seem him with an acoustic steel. His expression seems a bit like his mom caught him smoking.

Not being glib here. Proper slant technique is the key to better slants. A pronounced indent in the rear of the bar is pretty close to irrelevant - at least IMHO. My go-to bar these days is a Clinesmi ...

Mike Neer's CDs are required listening.

If you can find it, this CD is pretty good - great steel from Doug. If memory serves, the keyboard sounds are a bit dated.

Thanks, Joe. really appreciate the feedback.

I love Bobbe's ideas and tone on C6/Fmaj7. He snuck a variation on the "Lady Bird" turn around in there.
